A good instructor can provide useful feedback over the radio but there is no alternative to having your instructor physically present as you fly to demonstrate, advise and encourage you. I found Tandem Acro coaching the fastest and most effective way of learning new maneuvers. Pal would demonstrate each technique, I would follow his movements, observing the inputs and feeling how the wing behaved - then it would be my turn! I was skeptical at first about how the tandem acro wing would perform but it flies like a solo wing! Pal also used multiple video cameras to debrief each flight, great to compare and review each step of my training.
